Check out our GOASG website.Cost Controller (Level 2) Role Description:As a proficient cost controller at ASG, your role is to use financial expertise to assist operations in evaluating project costs and provide support to ensure the project budget accurately reflects the current and future performance of the project for our customers.
You will be responsible for completing your role with little supervision. Overall, your role as a cost controller requires a strong understanding of cost control and project management principles and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with others to achieve the teams’ and projects’ goals.Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for becoming fully versed in the project, cost control, procurement processes, and expectations.
- Responsible for maintaining initial budget performance and status with guidance from cost controller leadership.
- Responsible for supporting the implementation of FX planning, management, and reporting under the guidance of cost controller leadership.
- Responsible for supporting the development of change management scenarios with guidance from cost controller leadership.
- Responsible for supporting project capitalization.
- Responsible for supporting the preparation of cash flow.
- Responsible for helping vendors to troubleshoot invoicing issues.
- Responsible for supporting capitalization forecasts for management.
- Responsible for supporting the preparation of monthly reports.
- Responsible for maintaining the tracker and change management logs.
- Responsible for ongoing collaboration with client and vendor project team members to support the forecast.
- Responsible for maintaining occasional interaction with staff from other client functions.
- May be responsible for mentoring and guiding level 1 team members and level 0 interns. Part of the ASG growth and contribution policy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical area.
- 2-5 years of experience in cost controls or construction management or a relevant role.

- Proficient knowledge of basic financial controls.
