Oversee and maintain the quality management system for the company. Leader of the quality team and is the voice of the customer, ensuring that the overall quality goals meet or exceed customer requirements as well as the company’s quality metrics (monthly, quarterly, yearly). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION: A BS degree in a technical or related field or with equivalent quality management experience required.

ASQ certification or Six Sigma certification is a plus.EXPERIENCE:  A minimum of 10 years of on-the-job experience in the field of quality with a minimum of five years of this experience must be in a decision-making position, with authority to define, execute, or control projects/processes and to be responsible for the outcome. This may or may not include management or supervisory positions.LANGUAGE: Fluent in English and SpanishKNOWLEDGE: Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in computer technology and systems. Great team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong familiarity with AS9100D including ISO9100:2015PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.SPECIFIC POSITION DUTIES•Administrator and Supplier Representative in the OASIS database for overseeing and maintaining the Quality Management System (AS9100).•Develop specific programs and measurement systems that will provide the appropriate level of product quality and reliability, customer service, and customer satisfaction to determine organizational improvement.•Lead team efforts to establish and monitor customer/supplier relation, support strategic planning and deployment initiatives.•As necessary, initiate and coordinate quality related communications with company operations and other business units.•Motivate and evaluate staff; manage projects and human resources.•Analyze financial situations, determine, and evaluate risk, and employee knowledge management tools and techniques in resolving organizational challenges.•Lead and champion process improvement initiatives in the company that can have regional or global focus in a variety of product or service settings.•Identify root cause and corrective actions of customer or internal failures based on formal failure analysis identified through proper problem solving and root cause analysis using standard quality tools while providing timely and responsive resolution of problems/issues internally and externally.•Participate as the lead in AS9100D surveillance and recertification audits with third party registrar.

 Perform internal first-party audits to assess compliance to the quality system and standards while providing help with internal auditing to prep for the surveillance and/or recertification audit (Third- party).•Verify and validate customer Purchase Orders identifying all quality requirements and Q-Notes flowed down inside of the Purchase Order with the flow down and alignment to the Sales Order.•Approve ECN’s for A released products in compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.•Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable resources for federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; provides information to attorneys when needed and interprets policy for managers and employees.•Approve and sign off on all qualification test program and qualification reports and FAIR’s.•Have the ability to data-mine military and industry standards and publications in order to identify the proper testing and/or inspection methodology or to verify and validate raw material or customer drawing requirement flow downs.•Review and approves the yearly retention reporting for DSC-DLA for all QPL products prior to submission. 85000.00 To 105000.00 (USD) Annually
