JOB SUMMARY:

To promote the mission of PATH to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by managing an effective team to provide quality services. Responsible for the overall supervision of assigned residential sites and assumes responsibility for the entire BH Adult Residential Program in the absence of the BH Adult Residential Program Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Master's Degree in Behavioral Health Discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in the provision of behavioral health treatment and/or rehabilitation 
  • Active Driver’s license and personal car required.
  • COVID-19 vaccination, or willingness to receive vaccine required.

SPECIFIC DUTIES: 


1. Effectively manage assigned residential sites within the BH Residential Program2. Maintain and enforce compliance with Title 55 PA Code Chapter 5310: Community Residential Rehabilitation Services and Philadelphia DBH requirements3. Interview and evaluate individuals for entry into the program as assigned by the Program Director4. Overall admission of residents, assignment of residents to residential counselors and discharge of residents from assigned sites5. Ensure individuals gain access to needed psychiatric, medical, social, residential, financial and other services appropriate for the individual6.

Ensure consultation with the psychiatrist and all other members of each individual's treatment team7. Chair weekly scheduling meeting with site supervisors to ensure appropriate staff coverage at all residential sites within the program8. Assist program director in ensuring Adult BH Residential supervisory staff availability 24 hours/7 days a week to provide advice to residential staff which includes responding to phone calls within 10 minutes and providing face to face intervention as indicated to resolve a crisis9.

Monitor assigned residential sites to ensure health and safety of residents10. Meet DBH occupancy standards for all assigned sites and graduation criteria for sites assigned these criteria11. Schedule opportunities for residents to engage in community integration activities12. Coordinate concurrent reviews with DBH and members of each resident's treatment team on a regular basis13. Manage petty cash and other financial resources specific to assigned sites14. Review lease contracts and obtain and monitor financial information for each resident of the Adult BH Residential Program15.

Communicate any changes in resident's income and room and board amounts to the fiscal department16. Monitor and approve individual resident and/or supervisor request for resident funds when PATH is the representative payee to ensure appropriate utilization of funds at assigned sites17. Carefully review, follow up, correct and process all incident reports generated by assigned sites in a timely fashion18. Carefully review, follow up, correct and process all BH Review Committee Minutes generated by assigned sites in a timely fashion19.

Provide direct site supervision in absence of site supervisor20. Effectively operate the Adult BH Residential Program in the absence of the Program Director21. Participate in the development of proposals as requested.

Our roots can be traced back to 1973 when PATH was incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation. This came about from the efforts of a group of dedicated community members, many of whom had family members in need of services, which were scarce to non-existent at the time. They worked tirelessly with a group of caring professionals to form PATH and to secure funding in order to provide much needed services to the citizens of Northeast Philadelphia. This tradition of the involvement of dedicated and compassionate community members continues today through our volunteer Board of Directors who are all residents of Northeast Philadelphia. The Board of Directors, which is largely composed of family members of individuals who participate in our programs, continues to strongly advocate for the needs of the community. Over the years, our community has expanded to include individuals throughout the city of Philadelphia and in surrounding counties through our Specialized Russian services Starting with a staff of 14 in rented office space providing only information and referral services, PATH has significantly expanded its programs as we currently serve over 3,000 individuals annually in our various Behavioral Health Programs, which include both Mental Health and Substance Use Treatment, as well as in our Intellectual Disabilities programs. With over 500 competent and considerate staff members, we are able to provide a wide array of quality services to meet individuals' needs. Our facilities include our main campus at 8220 Castor Avenue, 4 satellite locations, and over 70 homes in the community where we provide residential supports to enable individuals to remain living in the community. We also provide school based services in numerous Philadelphia schools. We have remained true to our mission of helping individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life.
