Research & Development Lab Technician to join our team! The R&D Lab Technician will support R&D Department functions by collecting samples, performing testing, documenting and communicating results, and operating and maintaining laboratory equipment. What you will do:
Play a key role in laboratory functions such as DNA extraction, RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, capillary sequencing and Next Generation Sequencing
Generate clear and concise technical reports
Execute experimental strategy developed by manager
Interact with senior laboratory personnel to review progress and present results
Maintain laboratory, cleaning, maintenance, and safety per SOPs
Revise and update SOPs, as needed
Follow established company SOP and ISO 9001 Guidelines
What you will need:
BS or MS degree in a life science area
2+ years previous molecular biology laboratory or equivalent experience
Experience or knowledge of workflows with DNA & RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, and NGS
Able to obtain half face respirator certification upon hire

Solid communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills and ability to manage large amounts of technical data and documentation
Proficiency with standard computer software
Strong attention to detail
