As an Electrician, your primary responsibilities involve installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical fixtures while upholding the highest electrical safety standards for our clients' homes.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


  • Drive to customers' homes, both current and potential, to assess and install electrical products.
  • Establish rapport with customers and demonstrate expertise in electrical repairs, showing a willingness to learn about waterproofing, crawl space, and/or foundation repair systems.
  • Consult with customers and crew chiefs on-site, discussing findings, and providing detailed and accurate solutions or job proposals.
  • Perform electrical installations in a neat and workmanlike manner, ensuring projects are completed from start to finish responsibly and efficiently.
  • Adhere to current electrical codes and regulations to ensure systems pass inspections on the first attempt.
  • Utilize company devices such as smartphones and tablets to enter job notes and proposals into the company CRM promptly and maintain up-to-date client information.
  • Attend weekly meetings and on-site trainings as required.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license to travel to customers' homes for scheduled appointments.
  • Display regular and reliable on-site attendance.
  • Continuously improve proficiency by attending approved, relevant training and staying updated with job-related materials.
  • Build trust by working cohesively with various departments and managers, responding promptly to electrical and production-related inquiries from internal and external customers.
  • Always prioritize providing remarkable service to both internal and external clients.

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:


  • Possess expert knowledge of electrical services, holding a current electrical license with up-to-date code requirements preferred.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in National, Commercial, and Residential Electrical Code.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities for both residential and commercial wiring problems.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces.
  • General knowledge of construction, concrete, or related principles and practices is beneficial.
  • Willingness to learn about basement systems, including piers, anchors, and waterproofing.
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of electrical systems.
  • Ability to interpret complex information and instructions into understandable job specifications, measurements, and standards.
  • Ensure safe and efficient use of tools and materials on job sites.
  • Identify electrical inventory needs and communicate them to the supply chain department following proper protocol.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Safety-oriented, both personally and company-wide, as electrical hazards are common on work sites.
  • Skillful in operating personal computers and software such as Microsoft Office and the company CRM.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients and co-workers.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a residential electrician.

PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS FOR LIFTING, CARRYING, PUSHING, PULLING: Heavy Work – Occasionally exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force, frequently 25 to 50 pounds, and constantly 10 to 20 pounds to move objects.
