About this Role:
The Global Procurement and Buyers Agent is responsible for overseeing the procurement process and managing supplier relationships across multiple regions. This role involves strategic sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of goods and services to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in global supply chain management, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work with diverse suppliers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing:
Develop and implement global procurement strategies to meet organizational objectives.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and manufacturers.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and supplier capabilities.
Supplier Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
Resolve any issues related to supplier performance or product quality.
Procurement Operations:
Manage the end-to-end procurement process including requisition, order placement, and delivery tracking.
Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
Coordinate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
Cost Management:
Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize purchasing processes.
Develop and implement cost-control measures and budgets.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Assess and mitigate risks related to global sourcing and supply chain disruptions.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and present procurement reports, metrics, and analysis to senior management.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments such as logistics, finance, and production to ensure alignment and support organizational goals.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between regional procurement teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
Proven experience in global procurement, sourcing, and supplier management.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluency in [languages relevant to the regions handled] is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $63,000 - $102,000Should you receive an offer, please expect that it can fall anywhere within this range. A multitude of factors will determine a fair salary based on scope of role within the organization, years of relevant experience, specific skills, and evaluation of capability to execute in role successfully (among other critical factors).Compensation listed below may also be included in an offer.
