The Accounts Payable Processor is responsible for processing arrivia vendor vouchers/payments in a timely manner, having followed established accounting procedures regarding purchase orders, departmental approvals and accuracy of invoices. This position is also responsible for providing general accounting support to supervisors and other managers within the department.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department by reconciling vendor statements, filing documents, maintaining accounting records and protecting confidential accounting information
- Accurately input invoices/statements, perform data entry, allocate costs, record charges/refunds and reconcile travel transactions
- Record business transactions and key daily worksheets to the general ledger system
- Research, track and resolve accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Process/Enter Employee expense reimbursements.
- Reconcile Corporate Card Monthly activity
- Make suggestions for improvements and contribute to the growth of the department/organization by demonstrating arrivia’s core values
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
- Completes all other duties and tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- An Associate’s degree in Accounting is preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years accounting experience in Accounts Payable in a computerized accounting department
- Prior handling of Corporate Credit cards and employee reimbursements preferred
- Competency with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking and ability to multi-task
- Organizational, verbal and written communication skills are a must
- Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
- Experience with Acumatica and/or OneStream a plus
