Position Summary The Recruiter is responsible for general recruiting needs and under the direction of the Recruiting Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of sourcing, interviewing, and hiring of talent, as well as supporting other recruiting team members as needed. The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full cycle of the recruiting process, from creating job requisitions in collaboration with hiring managers, thru on-boarding candidates.

What you will do


  • Responsible for the full cycle recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, and temporary employees; monitors career path program, writes and places advertisements.
  • Work with applicable hiring managers on client engagement discussion to ensure hiring needs are met.
  • Key responsibility is to seek out professionals with the right combination of experience, education, and skill to fill a position. Attract employees who best fit a job description and have the greatest potential to become valuable additions to the company.
  • Works with hiring managers to develop recruiting plans and write job descriptions.
  • Publicize openings by posting them in appropriate outlets and works toward developing a pool of qualified candidates.
  • Identifies recruiting opportunities by researching new sources for talent, cultivating relationships with industry professionals, and networking with post-secondary educational institutions and staffing agencies as appropriate.
  • The Recruiter will also represent the Company at public events, such as job fairs and community job outreach programs.
  • Ensures hiring and subcontractor processes are compliant with contractual obligations.
  • Additional duties align with the hiring process, beginning with screening applicants, and interviewing potential hires, followed by making recommendations, writing offer letters, conducting reference checks, and negotiating offers when necessary.
  • Effectively evaluate applicants and sourced candidates’ requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Assist in the coordination of recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with manager to discuss needs.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, providing information about the company and position, business strategy, performance objectives and expectations
  • Communicate with supervisor, managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
  • Leverage social media, multiple network sources, online tools, industry relationships, and community involvement to identify top talent.
  • In collaboration with supervisor, responsible for recruiting related reports and perform data analysis for the management team.
  • Build relationships with passive candidates and talent pools to deliver upon both immediate and short-term needs. Ability to build strategic long-term networks to be leveraged in the future is highly desirable.
  • Consults with line management providing Recruiting guidance when appropriate.
  • Responsible for all Recruiting training; in partnership with HR team, work with field management to develop their skills in interviewing, employee hire documentation, recruitment processes and protocols.
  • Maintain reporting metrics of all recruitment and retention activity, open positions and other data as requested.
  • Participates in developing CGL Recruiting goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Complete all required compliance, safety and developmental training as assigned.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources for Business Field from an accredited institution and working knowledge of HR law Required
  • 1-3 years of full cycle recruitment experience Required and
  • Must have experience in partnering with hiring managers, and have strong written and oral communication skills. Required
  • Highly self-motivated and ability to work independently.
  • Be an excellent critical thinker with exceptional communication and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Computer skills in MS office suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong candidate sourcing background
  • Strong knowledge of best practices for recruiting, interviewing and extending offers
  • Collaborative and creative team player.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
  • Requires strong blend technical and organizational skills. Must be collaborative with all levels of leadership and management. Demonstrates great communication skills within internal and external customers and excellent follow through skills.
