What You Will Be Doing:
The Technical Lead is responsible for empowering cross-functional teams to meet the functional for by our federal client. The Technical Lead must have strong verbal and written communication skills and must collaborate effectively with product owners, developers, designers, scrum masters, and business analysts to build easy to use software applications using a variety of leading-edge technologies.
Technical Lead responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Responsible for communicating technical options, and associated tradeoffs and risks, with the client, product management team and our federal client's leadership.
- Experienced in public facing web application development and iOS/Android application development.
- Actively seeks knowledge and understanding of industry trends, innovative technologies, software development methods and tools in order to continuously improve and evolve the product architecture, user experience, Agile development and DevSecOps practices.
- Foster the use of Agile practices within teams to enable delivery of deployable software within specified times.
- Actively participate in design sessions, sprint ceremonies and cross functional and integration team meetings.
- Provide guidance and oversight of testing practices and code reviews and ensure the security and integrity of the code base and product.
- Collaborate with team members and integration partners to develop new features as well as to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in all environments.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
- A Bachelors Degree is required or experience in lieu of degree with a combined 5 years of experience related to software development using the following:
- Delivers software to a containerized cloud environment (e.g., AWS, EKS), with a focus on optimization, troubleshooting, and monitoring,
- Utilizes Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to develop, deploy, and maintain environments and services with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) providers (e.g., Amazon Web Services),
- Builds and maintains CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and processes to support development, deployment, and monitoring
Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:
- CSM certification preferred
- Experience with SDLC within a federal government environment preferred
Our estimated salary range for this position is $116,000-$190,000. This presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on education, experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. *Salary could fall outside of this range.
