The ICN8 Manufacturing Quality Engineering team is supporting the ICN8 wafer fab in taking ownership of a number of important quality processes, related to:
- Customer complaint handling
- Non-conforming material management
- Incident handling
- Change management
- Audit facilitation
- Business Partnership management
Your Responsibilities
- We have currently challenging assignments for a BSc or MSc student for a multi-month internship or final thesis work.
- The execution of the assignments in most cases will have to be based on the DMAIC methodology
- Optimizing and /or automating our complex reporting structure may be part of the assignments.

Your profile
- Your are on the last year of a BSc or MSc in Physics, Chemical science, mathematics, mechanical engineering, electronics Industrial engineering or a comparable study.
- You have preferably experience with Microsoft Office and statistical data analysis tools such as JMP or Stata.
- Preferred, but not required is knowledge of quality improvement methods including FMEA, 8D, 3x5 why as well as leading (automotive) quality systems (ISO9001, IATF16949).
Duration
This is a full-time internship (40 hours per week) with a duration of 4-6 months. The assignment could also be suitable as a thesis/graduation project.Please note that in order to be considered for an internship/working student assignment, you need to be registered as a student during the entire period.
