The RoleVersaterm Public Safety is hiring a Full Stack Developer for our CI Technologies team to develop and maintain web applications.
Development responsibilities include all parts of the software development lifecycle as well as communication with various project stakeholders to assure requirements are met.We are looking for a skilled and innovative Full Stack Developer. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that align with business needs and deliver exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn ideas into functional and scalable applications while adhering to best practices in software development.What You'll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features and enhancements into existing products
- Design and develop frontend UI and backend REST API endpoints
- Design relational schema changes to implement new features while retaining backwards compatibility with supported legacy systems
- Collaborate with Azure team to improve products' cost and resource efficiency
- Implement data security measures, including application-level encryption and key management
- Prioritize workloads and managing demands from multiple projects and groups of stakeholders
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience working in a full-stack environment on large-scale projects
- Ability to independently build full-stack features from the ground up
- Working knowledge of web-based applications - HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Experience with relational databases such as Postgres
- Expertise in Java (Spring), SQL (ORMs) and Javascript (Vue)
- A desire to help public safety agencies
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Azure Services
- Experience with implementing and maintaining multi-tenancy applications
- Experience with containerization (Docker, K8s)
- Knowledge of data security principles, including encryption and key management
