We are seeking a Multi Media Communications Designer to join our team in Charlotte NC. This is a role within the communications team that requires strong communication and storytelling skills to be applied across a variety of project needs for the firm. This includes, but is not limited to, multi-media deliverables for: internal and external marketing campaigns, brand experiences, and external client deliverables.Key Responsibilities: 

  • Participate in marketing and business development activities by producing content for marketing campaigns, proposals, and interview presentations.
  • Create brand communications by developing a variety of media projects that reflect the LandDesign brand for both internal and/or external use.
  • Prepare engaging digital media in support of design projects.
  • Coordinate photo and video needs, including preparing for shoots, post processing needs and asset management.
  • Maintain files and databases related to the multi-media library.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in digital media, videography, graphic design, communications, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years professional design experience required, AEC industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills (verbal + written + graphic).
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail in the work.
  • Strong work ethic, easy to work with, and open to ideas and suggestions.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator at minimum.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite 365 Experience a plus.
  • Web, digital and interactive design experience, including basic understanding of Wordpress.
  • Comfortable with basic photography, video production and editing best practices, including lighting, shooting, color correction, etc.
  • Experience with animation and/or motion graphics to enhance visual storytelling in video, presentation, social media, etc.
  • Portfolios should demonstrate experience with a variety of media and knowledge of design principles translating to digital/video, layout, color theory, typography, etc.
