Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for overseeing accounting processes, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting various financial activities.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial roles.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures, identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement best practices for greater efficiency and accuracy
- Coordinate with auditors, ensuring all documentation and financial statements are accurate and audit ready.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various finance-related projects.
