Job Summary
This position is responsible for administrative claim setup as well as initial claim review including but not limited to eligibility, determine coverage amounts, policy requirement, group contacts and preferences and payment procedures. Editing member data in the billing systems. Responding promptly to inquiries from internal and external customers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:* High School Diploma OR GED and 3 years of claims experience OR Bachelor degree and 1 year of claims experience* Customer Service experience* Organizational skills* Ability to handle multiples tasks at once* Knowledge of state regulations, statutes, and ERISA* Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills* PC proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus NotesPREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:* Knowledge of ECM, STAR (Claim System), Genelco/GIAS, Siebel, UTS, Casetrak, Docsql, Benefits Manager, ImagePlus, and Index Assist Tool* Aptitude for math and critical thinking skills* Knowledge of state regulations, statutes, and ERISA* Detailed oriented

$17.20 - $27.15
