Job Summary:
The Sales Enablement Specialist supports the Sales Team by aligning sales strategy with execution through administrative, clerical, and project-based tasks. Key duties include identifying training needs, developing onboarding and learning programs, and providing up-to-date product information. This role collaborates with product marketing to ensure consistent messaging, manages sales resources, and evaluates enablement programs to enhance sales strategies. Success requires a proactive, organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating discretion, reliability, and strong organizational skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Product Marketing to maintain up-to-date product information and support the creation of marketing and sales enablement materials.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy, curriculum, and sales playbook for the sales organization.
- Create and manage sales enablement materials, including sales guides, success stories, case studies, product collateral, and cross-solution templates for standardized presentations.
- Oversee the sales enablement content repository and ensure its effective use by training the sales team on best practices.
- Strengthen the customer reference program and user community engagement, while also supporting content creation for sales collateral like prospect due diligence decks.
- Assist with CRM database management, gathering prospect data from various sources, including internet research.
- Facilitate the client onboarding process, manage legal contracts, and assist in preparing sales quotes and proposals.
- Organize and coordinate client visits, meetings, conference calls, and other events, including scheduling, setting itineraries, and ensuring proper equipment and materials are available.
- Provide customer service and administrative support throughout pre- and post-sales processes, including project management and follow-up on meeting action items.
- Track content adoption metrics, define sales enablement best practices, and develop an internal sales website for centralized communication and access to materials.
- Assist with state contracts, provide detailed organizational support, and ensure communication across employees, senior management, and vendors.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Sales support in a SaaS company
Skills & Competencies:
- Adobe Illustrator experience a plus.
- Expert in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-Learning tools with experience in developing and implementing sales training and certification programs.
- Familiar with CRM databases such as Salesforce or NetSuite, with the ability to manage and maintain data effectively.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities, adaptable to changing schedules and working conditions while remaining extremely detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.
- High level of integrity in handling confidential information; trustworthiness is essential.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clearly, edit for spelling and grammar, and adapt writing styles as needed.
- Capable of delivering persuasive presentations and actively participating in meetings while responding well to questions and feedback.
- Able to balance team and individual responsibilities, contributing to a positive team environment, boosting morale, and driving commitment to shared goals.
- Strong creative and strategic problem-solving skills, with experience building sales tools, playbooks, and success stories.
- Familiarity with Sandler Sales Methodology and experience in a sales or sales support role is preferred.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and internationally, collaborating with diverse teams to achieve business objectives..
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
- Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse and computer for up to 6-8 hours per day.
- Ability to utilize telephone/video conferencing for approximately 4-6 hours per day.
- Ability to lift and/or move at least 10 pounds.
- Ability to perform simple grasping, including handwriting, paper manipulation, sorting, folding, etc. periodically throughout the entire workday.
- Frequently remain in a stationary position throughout day.
- Occasionally move about inside and outside the premises.
