Project Manager & Implementation Consultant
The Project Manager & Implementation Consultant is responsible for leading the implementation and training for our client's enterprise on-premise software solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in project management and consulting, with a proven ability to build client relationships and deliver exceptional service. Success in this role requires a sense of urgency, ownership, and a commitment to providing accurate and timely solutions.This is a hybrid role, requiring one to two days in the office per week to support collaboration and team engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Oversee the full implementation lifecycle from project initiation to closure.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring timelines, budgets, and resource allocations are effectively handled.
- Identify risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including data migration, product development, quality assurance, and support staff.
- Provide regular status updates, documentation, and reporting to manage client expectations.
- Continuously improve project management processes to optimize efficiency and outcomes.
Implementation:
- Analyze client requirements and workflows, configuring software solutions to align with business processes.
- Lead technical sessions with clients to define system needs and integration points.
- Oversee testing and ensure seamless integration with client systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide hands-on solutions.
- Develop and deliver training to client stakeholders for a smooth transition.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in enterprise software implementation and consulting.
- A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in workflow analysis, configuration, integration, testing, and training.
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL, APIs, and enterprise software platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and internal teams.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Experience translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Industry experience in healthcare or dental software is an asset.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%, including Canada, the U.S., and internationally for client support and industry events.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $80,000 - $93,500 CAD (dependent on experience, skills, and education).
