ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking Senior to Staff Full Stack Software Engineers who excel in crafting exceptional user experiences and scalable backend systems. You’ll collaborate with a growing team at the cutting edge of generative AI in the legal space, contributing to both the front-end and back-end components of our platform.
The Tech Stack
Our clients' stack includes TypeScript, React, on the front end, while the back end leverages Node.js, MongoDB, Docker, AWS, and CDK. You'll also work with cutting-edge technologies like OpenAI's ChatGPT and other large language models (LLMs).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development of full-stack features, turning ideas and designs into polished, scalable functionality.
Enhance the performance, reliability, and maintainability of both front-end and back-end systems.
Address user feedback and resolve issues through thoughtful debugging and feature iteration.
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to team members, fostering high-quality engineering practices.
Break down complex projects into actionable plans, ensuring timely and efficient feature delivery.
Contribute to the overall success of the team, proactively solving problems and supporting colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
Proven ability to design and implement scalable backend systems.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate and advocate for your ideas effectively.
Demonstrated ability to take features from concept to production, including requirements gathering, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Self-starter with a growth mindset and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
Experience planning and executing projects that ship features efficiently without compromising quality.
NICE TO HAVES
Familiarity with our tech stack: TypeScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS.
Experience in fast-paced startup environments with quick prototyping and iteration cycles.
A track record of driving innovative product features from concept to completion.
