Join the power movement as an Inventory Lead


As a lead on the inventory team this leader is responsible for assisting the team in meeting companyobjectives through warehouse and materials management. This role will be the first escalation pointfor Inventory requests during 2nd shift (1pm through 9:30pm) and the subject matter expert in allsystematic inventory procedures.Hours: 1:00 pm - 9:30 pmWork 5 weekdaysRate of pay: $38 - $44 per hour + 10% differential

What you'll do:


  • Obey and enforce all CFS Safety guidelines and policies in the warehouse; correct any unsafe conditions or behaviors while maintaining a clean work environment
  • Receive and verify purchase orders, inventory transfers, and stock items appropriately
  • Lead team in all inventory related activities
  • Monitor and control inventory integrity; resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Lead team in completing cycle counts and reconciliations
  • Collaborate with management to allocate workforce resources to complete assignments and achieve deadlines
  • Identify and execute 5S improvements
  • Research and correct inventory inaccuracies and perform inventory adjustments where necessary
  • Prepare and maintain records of inventories, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued
  • Track and report non-conforming parts
  • Identify, document and quarantine damaged products
  • Assist the safety team in maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets for incoming materials
  • Ensure compliance with CFS Hazardous Material storage plans
  • Execute incoming inspection of components in coordination with the CFS Quality Assurance and Quality Control team
  • Ability to operate various Material Handling Equipment and obtain a DOT License
  • Supervise Inventory Specialists

What we're looking for:


  • High School Diploma (or equivalent), Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • 1+ years experience in Inventory Control
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in ERP functionality
  • Experience in a start-up or high growth environment
  • Experience in manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience in Inventory Control processes
  • Experience with Warehouse Operations
  • Inventory Management skills
  • Strong computer skills with MS office or G-Suite applications (including Excel)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Inventory & warehousing operational knowledge
  • Customer service excellence

Bonus points for:


  • Previous team lead experience

Must-have requirements:


  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Perform activities such as stopping, typing, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time
  • Work in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics
  • Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally
