Your ImpactThe Accountant performs day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, expense allocation, and reporting to maintain timely and accurate financial records.
What You'll Do
- Journal Entries and Accounting Adjustments: Prepares and posts journal entries for accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and other accounting adjustments.
- Account Reconciliations and Discrepancy Resolution: Reconciles accounts such as accounts payable, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses. Researches and resolves discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting and Expense Allocation: Assists with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation. Ensures expenses are coded to the proper accounts and departments.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
- 1+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Netsuite, etc.)
- High growth company experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Collaborative team player with integrity
