At Nautilus, we have a big and important mission: improve the health of millions by unleashing the potential of the proteome to accelerate drug development and enable a new world of precision and personalized medicine. We are developing a single-molecule protein analysis platform of unprecedented sensitivity, scale, and ease of use that we believe will democratize access to the proteome – one of the most dynamic and valuable sources of biological insight. To accomplish this, we are pursuing deep, hard science with an entrepreneurial mindset and creating a world-class team of builders, innovators, and dreamers across a wide range of disciplines.
The Scientist II, Phage Display role is a key function within Nautilus that is integral to the successful development of multi-affinity protein binding reagents by screening antibody libraries and identifying candidate molecules. You will help develop the screening methodologies to identify candidate molecules using phage display, as well as developing the functional assays to confirm the binding properties of these molecules. You will scale up and apply the existing affinity maturation process to our probes.
The successful candidate will work within a cross-functional research team, including experienced biochemists, bioengineers, bioinformaticians, and chemists. The successful candidate should have significant experience in screening antibody libraries and excellent communication skills. If you are looking for interesting problems to solve in novel and creative ways this may be the opportunity for you!
