Survey Operations Analyst, Chennai, India


Overview: Toast is driven by building the all-in-one restaurant platform that helps restaurants operate their business, increase sales, engage guests, and keep employees happy.  Our People Data Specialist - Employee Voice will facilitate digital listening across the employee life cycle by administering our employee engagement tools and translating design requirements into live surveys and insightful/actionable dashboards.  You will work closely with your People and Talent Analytics team partners, as well as cross functionally with key People Team stakeholders and managers across the business.

About this roll* (Responsibilities)


  • Clean data and maintain data hygiene in our engagement tools
  • Build surveys with complex rules and workflows in Qualtrics
  • Create compelling dashboards and reports in Qualtrics that meet the needs of a wide range of stakeholders
  • Design ad-hoc reports to solve unique business questions combining employee voice data from surveys with people data from our other core systems
  • Generate clear and comprehensive documentation about survey administration, survey access, and dashboards
  • Assist in updating and maintaining dashboards across People Analytics in our BI visualization tools
  • Help facilitate qualitative data collection and reporting
  • Manage and administer security and security profiles across our People Analytics tools

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years of applied experience with Qualtrics or equivalent workflow oriented survey tool management
  • Experience with sensitive and confidential data and the reporting rules of survey data
  • 2+ years of experience with business systems administration
  • 2+ years of experience with data visualization and deep understanding of relevant best practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to distill complex data patterns into compelling stories through slide decks, executive summaries, etc
