The Job
We are looking for an experienced Engineering leader to drive our software engineering efforts across multiple teams, in a rapidly growing technology-backed company. Reporting to the SVP of Engineering, you will be instrumental in providing strategic direction and technical oversight, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Your mission is to deliver high-impact, scalable software solutions that drive business value and enhance customer experience. Balancing immediate priorities with a long-term vision, you’ll ensure our technology strategy aligns with business goals and keeps us at the forefront of the industry.

- Innovation and Optimization: Promote best practices and continuous improvement to enhance performance, efficiency, and scalability.
- Communication: Ensure clear, transparent communication within the team and across the company, maintaining transparency and aligning everyone on goals, priorities, and progress. Articulate the "what" and "why" behind initiatives, ensuring everyone understands goals, priorities, and progress.
- Process Improvement: Optimize development processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency, quality, and agility.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product management, UX/UI design, and other stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver high-quality products.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable software solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
- Technology Strategy: Define and execute the technology roadmap, incorporating emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks, ensuring robust and reliable software solutions.
- Change Management Communication: Communicate the rationale behind changes, addressing concerns to ensure smooth transitions, particularly in fast-evolving industries like tech and solar energy.

- Extensive experience with cloud technologies and hands-on experience in back-end and front-end development

- BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field
