Working closely with the Operations Lead, you will assist in overseeing in-store inventory, conducting routine audits, and maintaining impeccable visual merchandising standards to ensure our sales floor aligns with company guidelines. Beyond operational tasks, you’ll actively engage with customers, foster a positive in-store atmosphere, and contribute to achieving revenue targets. Your dedication to excellence and deep understanding of our operations will elevate the customer experience, drive loyalty, and support the overall success of our retail store.The Operations Specialist will initially report to the Store Manager.Start date: October 2024.Hours: 20-25 hours per weekAvailability required: open availability during the week (ideally); available to work on both weekend days required.Compensation: $24/hourWhat you’ll be responsible for:Operational Excellence & Visual Merchandising

  • Accurately process customer transactions, ensuring a seamless experience in an OMNI channel setting
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and warranties efficiently and in accordance with company policies
  • Uphold visual standards and guidelines, meticulously verifying display pricing and promotions, all while closely monitoring inventory performance metrics
  • Assist in leading routine inventory counts, upholding inventory levels and data accuracy at the highest standard
  • Deliver a seamless customer experience in an OMNI channel environment, efficiently processing customer transactions, managing returns, exchanges, and warranties with precision
  • Support and execute all front and back of-house procedures in adherence to company policies and protocols
  • Receive incoming and outgoing inventory shipments with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring proper handling and documentation
  • Collaborate with store management to identify opportunities for enhancing the daily operations of the store

Sales Achievement

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Ana Luisa brand and product offerings to assist customers in making informed purchase decisions
  • Achieve individual and team-based sales goals through a customer-centric approach, in-depth product knowledge, and genuine selling techniques
  • Meet and exceed Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals; focusing on Average Order Value, Units Per Transaction, Conversion % and revenue to target
  • Utilize company tools, incentives, and strategies to support the achievement of store-wide sales targets

Customer Experience

  • Forge lasting relationships with customers by establishing genuine connections and delivering a personalized shopping experience
  • Collaborate with the store team to build a strong clientele list, fostering brand loyalty and encouraging repeat customers
  • Participate in store events and corporate-led initiatives to enhance brand awareness and community involvement
  • Welcome customers into the store, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere
  • Assist customers in styling jewelry, making recommendations that complement their individual style and lifestyle
  • Work closely with store management to gather and implement customer feedback to enhance the overall shopping experience
  • Resolve customer needs promptly and effectively to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

What you’ll bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2+ years retail experience; jewelry experience preferred
  • Proficient in Shopify, Google Workspace, and inventory management software
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Works well in a high-performance team environment
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
