WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Privacy Analyst Consultant, you will act as an extension of the Privacy Team to enhance and expand privacy assurance operations. You will work collaboratively with Leadership to validate compliance with data protection requirements, assess current state controls, and provide advisory support for planned implementations. This role also includes responsibilities for conducting assessments, supporting privacy frameworks, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.We anticipate this role being up to 40 hours/week.

You will:
Privacy Assurance and Compliance Support:
- Coordinate and conduct internal compliance assessments and readiness reviews.
- Evaluate and assess current-state controls for maturity and effectiveness.
- Consult and provide advisory support for planned implementations and deployments.
- Execute assessment activities, including interviews and control evaluations.
- Draft, review, and perform quality assurance for reports and documentation.
- Map compliance and privacy requirements to organizational policies, procedures, and practices.
Digital and Privacy Enablement:
- Review and validate functionality requirements for WebTracker and MarTech components.
- Analyze and evaluate WebTracker monitoring service reports for compliance.
- Provide advisory services to teams and stakeholders on compliance-related development and deployment.
- Track and monitor remediation efforts to ensure alignment with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for privacy processes.
Governance, Risk, and Compliance Enablement:
- Provide guidance on administrative, technical, and physical controls to support compliance goals.
- Assess the effectiveness of operational, security, and privacy controls.
- Collaborate with legal, marketing, and operational teams to address compliance objectives.
- Identify gaps and provide solutions to enhance control maturity.

ABOUT YOU:
Preferred experience:
- Experience in privacy, data protection, or compliance roles.
- Familiarity with data protection frameworks (e.g., NIST, CCPA, PCI, ISO, HIPAA).
- Proven experience in internal compliance assessments and readiness reviews.
- Strong understanding of control types (administrative, technical, and physical).
- Expertise in evaluating the effectiveness of operational, security, and privacy controls.
- Experience working with WebTracker/MarTech technologies and digital compliance.
- Proficiency in tools such as Confluence and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including legal and marketing.
Preferred certifications:
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
- Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT).
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
- GDPR or other relevant data protection certification.
