About the Job
As a Lead Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving the execution of the company's product roadmap. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software and hardware engineering, design, and customer success to deliver products that meet customer needs and drive business growth. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence the company’s execution and significantly impact our success.
Responsibilities:
- Hire a team of program managers who will cover hardware, on prem software, and cloud computing.
- Establish a process for reporting of status to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Identify potential project risks, create contingency plans, and proactively address obstacles.
- Facilitate collaboration across engineering, product, and operations teams to drive successful project outcomes.
- Develop and maintain detailed project roadmaps, timelines, and milestones for complex technical deliverables.
- Define and align project goals with company objectives and stakeholder expectations.
About You
Required:
- You have a minimum of 5+ years of work experience as a Technical Program Manager.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
- You have a track record of successfully technical program management of all aspects of a product throughout its full lifecycle.
- You have proven work experience in program management in one or more of software development, hardware development, wireless technology or cloud computing.
- You have a technical background with a high level understanding of hardware, software, and cloud development.
- You have strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
- You excel at working effectively with cross-functional teams and have a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- You have demonstrated experience building and managing a high-performance program team.
