Account Executive
Job Description
Workshop is looking for a driven Account Executive (AE) to help us grow revenue. We are on pace to substantially grow this year, but need motivated and determined sales professionals to reach our goals. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 2-5 years selling experience to be part of an exciting software-as-a-service (SaaS) business.
As an Account Executive, you will:
- Deliver quality and tailored demonstrations of Workshop to prospects based on the prospects needs and priorities
- Supplement your pipeline by completing lead generating activities including cold calls, emails, and social touches
- Meet or exceed your monthly quota
- Following up with prospects several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met
- Compiling and analyzing data to find trends
- Developing sales strategies and achieving sales targets
- Staying current on company offerings and industry trends
- Maintaining accurate CRM records for contact and deal management
- Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience
- Handling objections and negotiations
To be successful at this position, you’ll need to:
- Have some relevant work experience OR Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Display comprehensive and current knowledge of company offerings and industry trends
- Manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understand client needs and handle the negotiation process
- Juggle lots of tasks while maintaining focus on goals
Bonus points if you:
- Have previous experience with CRM software
- Have previous experience with B2B selling in software or technology
