WHO YOU ARE
At Frogslayer, we think great Delivery Managers come from all sorts of different professional backgrounds and have a diverse skill set to show for it. The ideal candidate for this position has 6+ years of experience in software product/project management and is someone who is passionate about building great software products. You're an experienced Delivery Manager with a proven track record of success in leading complex projects and teams through end-to-end project management and product development cycles.
You demonstrate natural leadership and strong communication skills. Your ability to motivate teams enables them to achieve their best work, creating an atmosphere of collaboration and innovation. To drive delivery excellence across projects, you possess a deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices, coupled with a no-BS technical background. Your dedication to client success and cultivating relationships with clients at all levels is something others admire about you.
AT A HIGH LEVEL
- You lead multiple software development projects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- You possess strong software product management expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills.
- You not only help ensure successful delivery of client engagements, but you also help identify new opportunities within your client portfolio.
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
- You thoroughly understand and can clearly articulate the lifecycle of a software product from inception to design and development.
- You are an expert at kicking off and facilitating workshop activities.
- You identify clients’ business challenges through discussion and facilitation exercises.
- You create project roadmaps including value propositions and feature use cases.
- You are an expert at translating designs and technical requirements into well written user stories easily understood by all members of the team.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- You lead teams consisting of designers, developers and testers.
- You are an expert at assessing the status of a software project and you manage risks to move the project forward.
- You manage the scope, budget, schedule, and deliverables of the projects within your portfolio
- You write and review project statements of work and ensure contract commitments are met.
- You set up and organize tools, communication channels, and resources for projects per the Frogslayer process and best practices.
- You expertly manage the many parts of a software project, including onboarding of both internal and external team members, maintaining project timelines, creating project status reports, overseeing all project activities, and preparing and presenting sensitive information to clients and other key stakeholders.
CLIENT MANAGEMENT
- You interact with clients professionally, respectfully, and confidently and hold others to the same standards.
- You foster effective communication between clients and Frogslayer team members.
- You manage client relationships including managing expectations, anticipating concerns and setting the right tone in meetings.
- You prepare and present status reports to key stakeholders.
- You identify new sales opportunities by listening attentively to clients and analyzing their business needs and project goals.
- You participate in sales meetings and assist in closing new opportunities as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- You have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- You have 6+ years experience managing complex software development projects.
