Position Overview:
To serve with style, we are hiring a UX Designer to manage the creative designs for projects mostly in the area of website design. Candidates must have a good understanding of UX/UI, modern web standards, and in depth knowledge of WCAG Accessibility standards. The candidate must be competent with Adobe Creative Cloud design tools and Figma. Responsibilities:
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for web design and UX/UI on behalf of our federal partners, evolving existing front-end systems using innovative design thinking that puts customer experience first and participating in enterprise-wide design forums.
- Conceive, develop, refine, and execute on-strategy, on-time, design that delivers on the Creative Brief and Client Partner objectives. Be an advocate of the Brand Standards and review all work with a critical eye, ensuring the team’s work has one brand and one voice across all media (digital, video, and social/content).
- Foster relationships with multiple Client Partners to present and champion work, confidently recommending solutions to further the effectiveness of the team’s partnerships.
- Exhibit the ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects under tight deadlines, meeting all time and quality objectives while complying with regulatory requirements, policies and processes.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, UX, or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in UX design for business marketing applications
- A competitive portfolio website
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Figma
- Experience using Drupal or Wordpress or other open-source content management systems
