We’re backed by leading financial institutions and blockchain investors, including BlackRock, Morgan Stanley, Hamilton Lane, TradeWeb, Blockchain Capital, MUFG, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Sony Finance, Banco Santander, ParaFi, and Coinbase.Qualifications and RequirementsThis position requires specific knowledge of:- Financial markets including a strong understanding of the crypto currency ecosystem- The fund accounting lifecycle and the various operational functions required to strike a net asset value:Portfolio Accounting:- Creation and maintenance of portfolio investment master- Trade processing from various centralized exchanges and decentralized exchanges- Cash, position and P&L reconciliation across multiple exchanges, wallets, and custodians- Valuation of investmentsFund/Investor Accounting:- Booking of fund operating expenses- Reconciliation of operational bank accounts- Calculation of investor-level fees, including management and performance fees- Knowledge of investor performance calculations, including highwater marks, hurdle rates, and crystallization of incentive fees- Preparation of financial statements and portfolio schedulesTraining & Onboarding:- Assistance with onboarding of new launches and conversion clients- Evaluation of new processes for operational efficiency; coordination with other operational leads to implement new practices- Development of training documents, policies and procedures for complex asset classesExperience Required- Four or more years of experience in hedge fund or private equity accounting roles- Hands on experience with fund accounting software, including Geneva, FundCount, InvestOne, or VPM- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact both internally and externally in a professional manner with clients and colleagues- Experience with cryptocurrency assets- CPA, CFA or MBA preferred but not requiredLooking for a great company to work for?
