Your mission as Director of Lead Generation


Create a predictable, repeatable, and scalable lead generation channel for Energage. Initial focus will be on lead gen for the Top Workplaces employer recognition program. Over time, scale and scope of lead gen efforts could expand based on performance in the role, and based on needs of the business.

Currently we are looking for candidates in the Eastern and Mountain time zones. This role is available for remote work in a variety of locations with some exclusions:


  • California
  • Massachusetts
  • New York City
  • Washington
  • Outside of the US

Accountability and impact


  • Lead our demand and lead generation planning efforts, including channel mix, setting lead generation goals and forecasts, developing multi-channel campaigns, optimizing the and measuring overall results against plans.
  • Experiment with lead generation channels to find new opportunities to drive additional lead volume and lower customer acquisition cost.
  • Build on existing channels to establish a predictable, repeatable return on lead generation spend.
  • Oversee Lead Generation Manager responsible for implementing lead generation campaigns and ongoing management and optimization of lead generation channels.
  • Collaborate with sales and qualification teams to understand and optimize lead quality.
  • Collaborate with marketing web team to improve lead conversion.
  • Report on marketing ROI.

What you will bring


  • 6-9 years of marketing experience
  • 2-3 years of management experience
  • Proven ability to scale paid B2B inbound lead generation efforts.
  • Experience in introducing and scaling new paid lead generation channels in a growing business.
  • Experience in a wide range of lead generation channels.
  • Measures ultimate success of programs and channels by impact on SQOs and revenue.
  • Willingness to develop deep understanding of the business and its unique go-to-market strategy.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
