Join us and be part of a team that’s transforming the finance industry and empowering businesses to thrive!Position Description:The Stategic Partnership Manager will report to the Director of Strategic Partnerships and will be a key member of a team that helps maximize iBF’s Strategic Partners’ originations performance. iBF's partners come in many shapes and sizes - all with the common mission of empowering small businesses with the tools they need to maximize their potential. Your job will be to manage a book of our existing partners, andidentify ways to expand and grow these referral relationships. The role will help drive originations and will directly support the business’ core mission of helping, “more customers with SBA and other commercial funding solutions.” The Partnerships channel is an important vertical in our customer acquisition strategy and will play a pivotal part of iBusiness Funding’s growth plan moving forward. To date, we have partnered with brokers, lenders, marketplaces, banks and consumer facing technology platforms.Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and counterparts at partner organizations to drive more originations and deeper integrations
- Distill critical success factors for your accounts, and work across internal and external stakeholders to execute on these initiatives
- Provide oversight and internal commentary over partner origination performance (monthly/quarterly/annually)
- Work closely with our Business Development Team to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process for new partners
- Re-negotiate commercial terms and conditions as needed with existing partners as relationships evolve
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including product, legal, marketing, sales and compliance teams
- Take the initiative to help develop and build our partnerships team by creating new processes and challenging existing ones to optimize the team’s impact
Education and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience as a customer success manager or a partner manager at a finance and/or technology company
- Professional experience in Financial Services and/or a FinTech organization a major plus
- Experience and a level of comfort engaging with all levels of partner organizations (specifically BD/Partnerships, Sales, Legal, and Product teams)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Consistently drive productive and attentive conversations with your accounts – to not only help evangelize iBF as a fantastic SMB financing solution for their client base, but as a collaborative business partner looking to optimize customer experience and revenue potential for both organizations
- Analytical orientation – the success of the role is predicated on a metrics-driven approach
- Strong project management skills - staying organized while managing several partners and initiatives simultaneously
- Ability to lead meetings with external stakeholders (i.e. sales training with partner reps, commercial terms renegotiation conversation with partner BD and legal teams, quarterly business reviews, etc)
- The ability to set deadlines for both internal and external stakeholders and effectively navigate that journey through execution
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills - Salesforce reporting is a plus
