SALARY:
Range is $50,000 - $130,000 (Commensurate with Experience)
SSC:
Active Secret Security Clearance (required)
SUMMARY:
Mission Package Support Facility (MPSF)
- The Warehouse Specialist must have 3-year minimum experience in the area of inventory, warehousing, receiving and stowing and a forklift certificate of 6,000 pounds.
- The LEAD Warehouse Specialist must have 9 years of experience in the area of inventory, warehousing, receiving and stowing and a forklift certificate of 6,000 pounds.
Requirements
1-Warehouse Specialist
- The Warehouse Specialist shall have working-knowledge in requisitioning procedures, receipt processing, Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance, warehouse operations, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), storage onload/offload, shipping and transportation procedures.
- Must have knowledge of DON policies, procedures, and directives (with emphasis on CNSL 4400 series “Surface Force Supply Procedures” and 5040 series “Supply Management Certification”) and broad knowledge of NAVSUP policies (with emphasis on NAVSUP P723 and NAVSUP P485), procedures, and directives.
- Forklift drivers must possess a valid state driver’s license and valid OSHA approved forklift license/certificate. They shall also be knowledgeable in the operation of and be available to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as Pallet Jacks, Hand-trucks and like, hand-operated MHE.
- Shall have knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional applications including Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point.

- The Lead Warehouse Specialist shall have knowledge of DOD/DON logistics and supply support processes including: requisitioning procedures, receipt processing, Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance, warehouse operations, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), storage onload/offload, shipping and transportation procedures
- Candidate shall have experience at the Division Officer (DIVO) or Officer in Charge (OIC), or Leading Chief Petty Officer (LCPO) level or equivalent roles in other DOD/DON logistics supply support organizations.
- Be capable of leading and directing operations to implement Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) efforts. This includes writing of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), creating “as is” and “to be” process flow charts.
- Conducting process improvement events to address performance issues and instituting new procedures/process changes to correct QASP MOE deficiencies.
- Capable of instituting data collection efforts to measure the groups’ attainment of Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) specified measures of effectiveness. This includes the development and refinement of data collection tools and decision support tools for reporting and calculation of measures of effectiveness.
- Must have thorough knowledge of DON policies, procedures, and directives (with emphasis on CNSP_CNSL 4400 series “Surface Force Supply Procedures” and 5040 series “Supply Management Certification” and broad knowledge of NAVSUP policies (with emphasis on NAVSUP P723 and NAVSUP P485), procedures, and directives.
- Candidate shall have 9 years of supervisory experience or have reached the DIVO, OIC or LCPO equivalent role which includes training, counseling and the remediation of subordinates. Candidate shall supervise overall operations and ensure that all QASP MOE goals are attained and maintained.
- Shall have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional applications including Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point and the ability to work independently in these programs.
- The Lead Warehouse Specialist shall be capable of developing and refining data collection tools to calculate and report attainment of all QASP specified MOEs. He/She must also be capable of performing analysis on reported data and ascertaining whether corrective action is required to meet QASP MOE goals.
