If that sounds like you, we encourage you to apply. The Manufacturing Associate performs a wide array of essential functions including assembly, packaging, and light industrial work.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble kit and package cartridges and subcomponents (75%).
- Control and maintain inventory of raw materials and subassemblies in the lab (5%).
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning of all equipment and lab space (5%).
- Ensure production environment and equipment are maintained according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) (5%).
- Prepare consumable standard operating procedures and batch records and conduct in-process testing (5%).
- Other duties as assigned (5%).
Required Skills and Abilities
- Able to be accurate, attentive to details, and to work with limited supervision and independently or within a team environment.
- Ability to perform tasks that are repetitive and physically demanding.
- Computer skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel).
- Works well in small and dynamic settings.
- Ability to properly handle hazardous materials occasionally under supervision.
Education, Certifications, Licenses
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in life sciences preferred.
- Years relevant/ total work experience: At least 1 year of work experience in a GMP production environment required.
