CSA is seeking Temporary-On Call System Integration Engineers to work on the Mission Training Complex Capability Support contract at the Joint Multinational Simulation Center (JMSC). JMSC is the primary simulation center for U.S. Army Europe and routinely provides simulation and other related technical support to readiness training throughout the year involving Army, Joint and multinational partners throughout the year.
How Your Role Will Make an Impact:
- Creates system interfaces and databases in support of an exercise, event or testing.
- Provides System administration for constructive, mission command interface and gaming models.
- Works from specifications and installation documentation to develop or modify operating systems applications.
- Provides integration and server administration of constructive simulations in Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) simulation architectures mission command systems.
- Operates software in a distributed architecture such as or similar to DIS, HLA and JLVC environments.
- Provides technical operations, setup and tear down of servers, systems and integration tools; maintaining RMF compliance; providing input to exercise design and technical planning products.
- Participates in individual training, seminars, conferences, exercise/experiment planning events, site surveys, and exercise and training events.
What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team:
- Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Experience in the maintenance of Windows workstations, Windows Servers, or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Server/Workstation including software updates, patches, and baselines.
- Experience with creating databases such as those used in support of an exercise, event or testing.
- Ability to work with senior government and industry leaders.
- Ability to display a very high degree of attention to detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to occasionally work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time including beyond or outside of conventional/normal weekday business hours, e.g., 12-hour shifts, night-time shifts and weekend/holidays.
- DoD 8570.01M IAT II certification: CompTIA Security+ or higher Information Assurance certification.
