If you take an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving, work well in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, then this could be the right role for you!Purpose of the role:As a Jitterbit Developer, you will be an integral member of the technology team. You will focus onthe design, development and operations of the systems-to-system interfaces, dataflows, APIs, and integration middleware. You will work on various aspect of integration and display technical architect skills to lead the development of the APIs, and select the integration approaches. Leverage technical management skills through the delivery lifecycle to plan and manage the transitions and dependencies all revolving around 3rd party integrations. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Define the systems integration needed to deliver the forthcoming reengineering and platform change, including defining the interfaces needed
- Define the integration and dataflow architectures, and design the APIs that can be a point of stability
- Create and manage a best-in-class, complete and managed external-facing API layer to be used for business-partner integration, to support external clients and by third-party applications and services
- Work cohesively with the selection of specialist integration technology required, and be the prime technical contact person for any Cloud App vendors or support partners
- Collaborate with the support-teams around production incidents involving integration. Directly or indirectly ensure their timely resolution and recovery and preventative measures are taken to avoid recurrence
Required Competencies:
- Minimum 2 year's experience using Jitterbit, and overall 5+ years of experience in IT development
- Experience in systems integration, software development, message-based middleware and SOA, APIs, API management, data modelling, legacy integration techniques in DB staging tables and stored procedures
- Experience with .Net framework is an added advantage.
- Expertise in key technical aspects of integration such as REST , pub-sub
- Experience with Agile Methodologies such as Scrum
- Expertise in distributed development and major version control systems such as Bitbucket/Git
- Good communicator at multiple levels and across multiple disciplines, be able to handle client discussions
- Team Player, able to provide input into a multifunctional team.
