We’re on a mission to make a positive impact on the lives of patients living with sleep disorders by simplifying the complex process from diagnosis to treatment.The HST Administrative Assistant is responsible for cleaning, preparing, printing sales orders and shipping home sleep study equipment to patients. The HST Admin Assistant also assists with cleaning and restocking of returned equipment.

The expectation of this position is to provide a first-class patient experience, with every patient interaction.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.   • Initializes home sleep study equipment and assigns the equipment to the patient 
  • Prepares HST equipment for shipping by printing the sales order and boxing up the equipment and labeling for pickup
  • Updates internal team members and updates shipping and tracking information in Brightree for patients 
  • Contacts patients by telephone or letter to collect outstanding pending equipment 
  • Works competently in Brightree to access and retrieve patient, insurance and billing information as needed 
  • Receives HST (home sleep test) equipment from the shipping & receiving team  
  • Cleans and disinfects HST (home sleep test) equipment per company infection control procedures
  • Stocks equipment and performs inventory counts to ensure all equipment is accounted for 
  • Assist with the HST downloads and confirms enough data has been collected to verify the test
  • Sends the downloaded information to Diagnostics (RPSGT’s) for scoring
  • Works competently in Brightree to access and retrieve patient, insurance and billing information as needed 
  • Supports the department with inventory control, cleaning and administrative duties

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS


HS, GED or equivalent required. Prior experience in medical equipment cleaning and handling preferred. Must be detail oriented, organized, and neat in personal and habits. Working knowledge of Spanish language helpful, but not required. Basic MS Office computer skills required. Must be able to work fully onsite in a warehouse environment.

The position generally involves sitting, frequent walking, frequent standing, ability to lift 20 pounds from a squatting to standing position, frequent bending and reaching, occasional kneeling, twisting, balancing, and climbing, keyboard, telephone operation and operation of medical equipment as well as office machinery and equipment.

The position requires the ability to present information verbally by speaking, listening, and communicating in English to patients, care givers and healthcare providers. This position may be required to drive occasionally and pack, carry and deliver medical equipment weighing up to 40 pounds. $18-$20/hourMedical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation, sick and holiday paySalary Description$18.00-$20.00 DOE
