The Global Sourcing Manager is instrumental in managing key vendor relationships, negotiating material costs and strategic deals. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, finance, quality, and third-party suppliers.Responsibilities
- Own sourcing for Verkada Engineering and Operations Team.
- Execute sourcing roadmap and strategy.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, contracts etc. for various aspects of operations.
- Supplier relationship management including business intelligence, supplier audits, and risk mitigation.
- Understand and communicate cost impacts of manufacturing operations.
- Support COGS roll-up and margin analysis for New Product Introduction.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial engineering (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain and sourcing.
- 1+ years working with international supply chains in multiple time zones and countries.
- Experience with contracts and contract management.
- Full professional English proficiency
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
