Our team is looking for a dynamic, client-facing Senior Technical Support Systems Specialist to join our growing Support team! You will start by learning our product offering and become familiar with our integration tools. Our ideal candidate will be tech savvy, a quick study, as well as someone who enjoys working on multiple, concurrent, and customer-facing projects.
Unanet’s industry-leading products integrate with numerous external systems, primarily through a suite of iPaaS solutions. You will collaborate with Product Development and the rest of our Technical Services team to develop, implement, and extend iPaaS integration solutions. Additionally, you will work with our colleagues within our Professional Services team to support existing interfaces built using our legacy integration technologies.
What You’ll Do
During your first year, you will inventory and assess the services currently provided with a legacy integrations service called “Automated Analyst.” Automated Analyst is an add-on service for customers that provides data quality control and limited data transformation using Microsoft Access and Excel refreshable web queries. You will identify those services provided through Automated Analyst that should be incorporated into Unanet GovCon ERP and work with our Product Management and Development teams to prioritize and get the features added to our product.
For services that are not to be incorporated into the product, you will implement the equivalent service using Workato iPaaS. Further, you will:
- Collaborate with Project Management to maintain ongoing integration project schedules
- Collaborate with our team on new tools and efficiencies
- Develop new methods of integrating with third-party software systems
- Work with our Product and Technical Services teams to support existing integrations, both legacy and via Unanet Connect; assist in developing, implementing, and extending new Unanet Connect integrations
- Extend, develop, and deploy solutions using Workato
Your First 90+ Days
In your first 30 days, you will be immersed in learning our products, solutions, tools, and development standards, including the data model as well as Technology Services policies and procedures. Product education will be at the forefront of your efforts, in concert with shadowing other Technical Consultants and Support team members during customer interactions and solution design and development. In your first 90 days,you’ll have been trained up on our technology and services. You will inventory service offerings provided to each customer of the Automated Analyst service and create a project plan for transitioning the customers off Automated Analyst and into either a Workato service or equivalent product enhancement.
The Automated Analyst service is built on a standard set of offerings. As such, Workato solutions should be reusable for other customers making the transition off the legacy service.In the remainder of your first year, you will either build repeatable Workato recipes to move services off of the Automated Analyst or project manage enhancements to the product. You will coordinate with the customer to work through the transition off the Automated Analyst service.
Who You Are
- 4+ years client-facing technical consulting or development experience
- Proven experience working with REST APIs and building third-party software integrations with Workato iPaaS
- Development experience using Java, including Spring framework
- Expertise with Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel Refreshable Web Queries
- Ability to work with customers to troubleshoot technical issues
- Ability to multi-task across numerous client projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and team skills and the desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- High level of initiative, capable of working alone and as part of a team
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
Your Differentiators
- Demonstrable experience with iPaaS and processes, Workato preferred
- Experience with development using SQL

The salary range for this opportunity is $120,000 - $145,000 per year. You will be eligible for employee equity as well as discretionary bonus compensation, subject to plans that may be in effect from time to time.
