Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative works to provide customers with the best possible service by accurately and efficiently responding to e-mail requests, answering phone calls, and relaying information to the appropriate parties. They must have excellent communication skills, as theyserve as a liaison between customers, operations, and driversfrom the initial request of serviceto the time of completion. The Customer Service Representative is good at multi-tasking and prioritizing time-sensitive tasks, as well as working in a fast-paced and at timesstressful environment.
This position is also responsible for accurate data entryto ensure thatservices are completedaccording to the customer’s request.The main purpose of this role is to ensure that operations run smoothly by keeping peers and customers updated with the latest information, making sure to address any issues assoon asthey arise.D u t i e s / R e s p o n s i b i l i t i e s :•Data entrytasks(Service requests, Proof of Delivery, etc)•Answer e-mails/telephones and provide information regarding shipment status•Print delivery paperwork and sort into its corresponding date•Track and call driversfor updates on ETAs•Relay driver issues to customers for immediate assistance •Calculate quotes for customers on provided services•Call customers to schedule pickups and deliveriesR e q u i r e d S k i l l s / A b i l i t i e s : •Excellent verbal and written communication skills•Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills•Excellent organizational and attention to detail•Minimalproblem-solving skills•Excellent time-management skills•Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment•Ability to work well in a team•Ability to adapt and be an active learner in a changing environment•Sufficient familiarity with the service areaE d u c a t i o n a n d E x p e r i e n c e :•High School Diploma or equivalent•Customer Service experience (1 yearminimum)
