Job Description
Our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division combines the expertise of IBI’s Buildings and Placemaking practice, our Places’ capabilities, and CRTKL’s multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology. Arcadis is looking for an Architectural Designer to join our team in Boca Raton for work on industrial projects. Role Accountabilities:
- Contributes to the development of light industrial distribution buildings architectural designs by preparing models and working drawings following company standards using Revit and AutoCAD
- Coordinates architectural design with civil, structural, MEP, fire protection, and physical security disciplines
- Prepares design development presentations and construction working drawing packages
- Prepares submission packages under the direction of the architect or job captain/project leader, to meet project timelines
- Produces drawings and details in compliance with codes and standards
- Assist with contract administration tasks such as shop drawing reviews and response to RFIs
- Manages workload and budget required for the completion of assigned tasks
- Liaises closely with Architect, Job Captain and other designers
- Work on multiple projects at the same time
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5 years' experience in architectural field, designing complex projects with a preference toward industrial experience
- Registration with NCARB and AIA membership is an asset.
- Strong experience with Revit and AutoCAD are mandatory
- Great detailing knowledge and skills
- Experienced with MS Office, MS Sharepoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam
- Must have good organizational and time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
