Compensation:
Grade 9: $74,100 to $81,510Grade 11: $88,500 to $97,350Grade 12: $103,300 to 113,630
Work Schedule:
8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday, with up to two days per week remote work opportunities.
General Summary:
Under the direction of the Supervisor, Business Application Team, provide business support to teams and business users through research, communication and development of technology solutions. Design, develop, enhance, implement, and provide support for application software and processes across departments.
Summary of Responsibilities:
BSA 1:
Work directly with the user community, under the guidance of senior analysts, to develop systems enhancements and resolve production problems.
Work with users and team members to review and clarify user requests including impact analysis.
Document specifications, requirements, user manuals, procedures, and other relevant information.
Provide test scripts and follow full testing methodology through development and implementation to ensure that quality goals are met.
Provide training for users on functionality of new systems and enhancement in releases of existing systems.
BSA 2:
Work directly with the user community to develop system enhancements and resolve production problems. Confer with users to determine functional requirements and enhancements. Present designs to user management and staff.
Review user specifications with all involved parties to ensure proper evaluations are conducted and recommendations are made to users that satisfy business and technical requirements.
Work with team members and user community to establish priorities on projects.
Remain current on developments in the industries, and make recommendations on new technologies to users where appropriate.
Document specifications, requirements, user manuals, procedures and other relevant information.
Provide training for users on functionality of new systems and enhancements in releases of existing systems.
Provide test scripts and follow testing methodology through development and implementation to ensure that quality goals are met.
BSA 3
Work with users to develop systems enhancements and resolve production problems. Confer with users to determine functional requirements and enhancements. Present designs to user management and staff.
Coach, train, and mentor staff members on current and revised standards and new processes.
Work with users to set priorities; review and clarify user requests, document the request with user, including writing requirements and system design documents. Aid junior analysts with their specification gathering efforts.
Provide project leadership and manage implementation of new technologies into systems structure, such as operating systems, telecommunications and network development and non-traditional applications. Verify recommended solution meets user's needs and works logically before placing into production. Develop test plans and data, run functional verification tests, review test results with user, and obtain user approval.
Document specifications, procedures and other relevant information.
Monitor trends and new developments in technology; recommend appropriate new technology and enhancements for business applications: Lead the business process redesign and documentation needed for new technology.

Summary of Requirements:
BSA 1
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or information systems required.
One to three years’ experience in investments or accounting applications and processes preferred.
Ability to collaborate extremely well with cross-functional teams and business partners required.
Experience gathering requirements, conducting business analysis, writing business specifications, developing test plans and data, and verification of results required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Excellent organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail required.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment while meeting deadlines with minimal direct supervision required.
BSA 2
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or information systems or a related discipline and at least five years’ experience in business area preferred. College-level course work and eight or more years relevant analysis and programming experience may substitute for the degree.
Ability to collaborate extremely well with cross-functional teams and business partners.
Understanding of investments, accounting and pension industry preferred.
Experience gathering requirements, conducting business analysis, writing business specifications, developing test plans and data, testing and verification of results required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to function under close deadlines with minimal supervision.
BSA 3
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, information systems or related discipline and ten years relevant experience required. Master’s degree preferred.
A combination of relevant college-level course work and fifteen years of relevant analysis and programming experience may substitute for bachelor’s degree.
Relevant certifications preferred
Ability to collaborate extremely well with cross-functional teams and business partners.
Understanding of relevant areas of business and pension industry preferred; Investment Systems experience required.
Experience with the following required:
