In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, prioritize, and launch innovative data products and features that align with priority business objectives. Effective stakeholder communication, experience creating impactful presentations, and familiarity with data insights are essential for success in this role.  

What You'll Do:


Product Strategy & Execution


  • Develop and manage a detailed product roadmap for data and reporting initiatives 
  • Create functional and go to market requirements, build consensus, provide updates and adjust course based on feedback 
  • Assist in the coordination with other departments of release deliverables and critical launch activities to enable timely and effective product releases. 
  • Define and track KPIs to measure the success of data and analytics products, focus on tying back to financial performance 

Collaboration & Communication


  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Design teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within scope 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams 
  • Lead cross-functional meetings and serve as a representative for the data products group 

Data & Reporting Product Development


  • Partner with engineering, QA and documentation teams to ensure that designs and completed product features meet customer expectations and market demands 
  • Assist in designing and refining data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools 
  • Advocate for data accuracy, scalability, and usability in all product initiatives 
  • Participate and lead daily stand-up meetings, product reviews, elaborations 
  • Explore opportunities to incorporate AI and machine learning into reporting and data products 

Presentation & Stakeholder Engagement


  • Create and deliver clear, engaging slide presentations for product updates, strategies, and performance metrics 
  • Translate technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical audiences. 
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to drive enablement and adoption, empowering them to have consultative conversations with customers that drive impact on retention and bookings 
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of sales demos 

Market & Product Research


  • Perform market research to understand target markets and customer needs 
  • Conduct competitive analysis, including preparing feature, content, and pricing comparisons to aid sales efforts 
  • Develop product positioning, pricing, channel, and marketing strategies 

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree in Business, Engineering, Math, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience 
  • 3-5 years of Management Consulting and/or Product Management experience 
  • Analytical thinker with a problem-solving mindset 
  • Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment 
  • Able to work effectively in a role requiring management by influence 
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate technical concepts and learn quickly 
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or Python to perform in-depth data analysis (useful for validation and prototyping) 
  • Kanban and/or Scrum process experience working with Engineering teams 
  • Ability to travel up to 20% 

Preferred Attributes


  • Experience managing products in the B2B SaaS environment, understanding customer lifecycle, and enterprise-scale deployments 
  • Proficiency in leveraging data visualization best practices with tools like Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI. 
  • Python and/or working knowledge of statistics 
  • Pragmatic Marketing Framework experience
