Are you ready to be at the forefront of the clean energy revolution?  MetOx International, Inc. is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in reshaping the future of power generation and distribution.
The HR Coordinator supports and coordinates Human Resources functions, ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations. This role involves managing attendance tracking, payroll support, and Affirmative Action Program (AAP) administration, while also supporting recruitment schedules, employee lifecycle processes, and HR systems. This position will report directly to the head of Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities:


  • HR Operations & Administration
  • Track and maintain employee attendance records, including managing time-off requests and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Assist with payroll preparation by verifying timekeeping records, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Process employee lifecycle changes such as new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Ensure employee files are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies and legal standards.
  • Provide support with benefits administration, including enrollment, updates, and answering employee inquiries.
  • Recruiting & Onboarding
  • Coordinate interview schedules and candidate communications to ensure a seamless recruitment process.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires, including orientation scheduling, creating welcome packets, and ensuring HR systems access.
  • Recommends and implements process improvements to streamline recruitment and enhance the candidate experience.
  • Employee Engagement & Support
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to attendance, payroll, benefits, and HR systems.
  • Assist with organizing and implementing employee engagement activities and events.
  • Facilitate offboarding processes, including exit interviews and termination documentation.
  • HR Systems Support
  • Maintain and update the HRIS system with accurate employee information and status changes.
  • Train employees and managers on HR system functionalities as needed.
  • Generate reports and analyze HR data to support decision-making and compliance.
  • Compliance & Reporting
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company HR policies.
  • Support Affirmative Action Program (AAP) administration, including maintaining necessary records and preparing compliance reports.
  • Prepare documentation and reports for compliance needs, such as EEO-1 reporting and audits.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and ensure HR practices remain compliant.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in co-ops, internships, or other relevant administrative positions.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Familiarity with AAP administration and HR compliance requirements is a plus but not required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:


  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR systems.
  • Experience with payroll and attendance tracking systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom) is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
