Job Title: Senior Developer

Role Overview:
We are seeking a
Senior Developer to drive the evolution of our SaaS platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and innovation. This role requires expertise in full-stack development with a focus on backend systems, cloud deployment, and seamless integration of third-party tools to enhance platform functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for DualEnroll's core platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, create technical specifications, and ensure optimal system performance.
- Monitor dynos, queues, PostgreSQL performance, auto-scaler and other add-ons in Heroku.
- Manage daily/weekly code pushes to Heroku production platform.
- Manage and troubleshoot AWS SFTP server.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure system reliability.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Ruby on Rails
- 7-10 years of experience in software development, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Databases: Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or similar.
- Cloud Technologies: Hands-on experience with Heroku, AWS, or other PaaS platforms.
- API Development: Expertise in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with tools like Zendesk for customer experience management.
- Strong understanding of secure software development and data protection practices.
- Proven ability to optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of education technology platforms or experience in the education sector.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with horizontal cloud scaling patterns
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
