 The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining a customer base in the West Coast region of the United States and other related assignments.  This position will report to the National Sales Manager and is based remotely. The incumbent should reside in the West Coast region.  It is extremely important this team member be aligned with Neapco’s Core Values of Partnership, Passion, Agility, Teamwork, Integrity, and Diversity.  Compensation dependent upon qualifications.

Job Description: Regional Sales Manager


Including, but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:  


  • Develop strategies to maximize sales through existing customer base 
  • Identify and develop new customers representing incremental business for Neapco 
  • Manage customer business requests and expectations as required and act as the “Voice of the Customer” when necessary   
  • Establish forecasts and develop annual sales quotas for assigned accounts; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new customers
  • Perform research and analysis to identify new opportunities for customers within assigned territory
  • Close sales by overcoming objections; negotiating / preparing contracts
  • Contribute information to sales strategies by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled; monitoring competitive products; analyzing and relaying customer reactions.
  • Conduct customer training for products and services as offered by Neapco
  • Interface with internal teams to communicate needed requirements to maximize sales within the sales territory 
  • Assist other departments or business units within Neapco   
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills:  


  • Strong technical background; preferably in driveline systems 
  • Must be strongly motivated and can work independently  
  • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
  • Strong oral and written communication skills 
  • Sales automation knowledge and experience including CRM, logistics, web-based tools, communication tools, strong Microsoft Office Suite skills  

Education:


  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 5 years comparable technical sales management experience
