Summary
The Sr. International Logistics Coordinator will be assisting the International Logistics team with their daily functions. This person will need to have strong organizational skills and be able to multi-task. This position will work closely with 3PL’s, manufacturing partners, freight forwarders, Customs broker and key stakeholder partnerships.
Essential Functions
- Coordinate and support International Logistics activities.
- Monitor Carrier performance and logistics management processes.
- Manage delivery of import shipments, coordinating with US and Global teams
- Work with indirect procurement on securing competitive transportation spot rates
- Analyze performance and develop plans to improve process flow.
- Develop strong relationships with key internal (supply chain, trade compliance, finance) and external (freight forwarders, ocean providers 3PL and Customs Brokers) trade partners to support the efficient flow of goods.
- Ad-Hoc projects as requested
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Data analytic experience required
- Experience with ERP systems preferred
- Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to multitask and keep to deadlines
- Strong attention to detail; ability to work accurately
- Four-year college degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Five+ years’ experience in international logistics required
- Critical problem-solving skills and self-motivator
- Customs compliance, FTZ and Export knowledge desired
The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $72,000 annually.
