Role Overview:


As a Quality Assurance Analyst specializing in performance testing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our applications and systems perform optimally under various conditions. Your responsibilities will include designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests, as well as identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks. Your efforts will help us deliver high-performing, reliable software to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Performance Testing: Design, develop, and execute performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios to assess the performance, scalability, and reliability of our applications.

  • Tool Utilization: Use performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar to simulate user load, measure response times, and identify bottlenecks.

  • Analysis & Reporting: Analyze test results, generate performance metrics, and provide detailed reports on system performance, including recommendations for improvements.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to identify performance issues and provide actionable insights for optimization.

  • Monitoring & Tuning: Monitor application performance in production environments and collaborate with the team to optimize systems for peak performance.

  • Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated performance testing scripts to enable continuous testing as part of the CI/CD pipeline.

  • Documentation: Document performance testing procedures, results, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency across teams.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest performance testing tools, trends, and best practices, continuously enhancing the performance testing process.

Requirements:



  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in quality assurance with a focus on performance testing.

  • Performance Testing Tools: Strong hands-on experience with tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar.

  • Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Groovy for creating and customizing performance test scripts.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret performance test results and identify bottlenecks.

  • System Knowledge: Solid understanding of system architecture, including web servers, application servers, databases, and network configurations.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey performance issues and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Detail-Oriented: A keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Nice to Have:



  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for performance testing in cloud environments.

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic, Dynatrace, or Grafana for real-time performance monitoring.

  • Knowledge of load balancing, caching, and other performance optimization techniques.

  • Certifications related to quality assurance, performance testing, or cloud technologies.

  • Experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline. Compensation:USD 75000-80000
