Explore more about our innovative solutions at Protera.com.Protera is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant who will act as the primary technical contact for our customers, providing strategic guidance, technical support, and ensuring best practices are followed for SAP implementations.
The successful candidate will develop strong relationships with assigned customers to better understand their operational needs and overcome technical challenges related to their SAP ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage large-scale SAP implementations across various environments and versions.
- Provide support and administration for multiple SAP solutions, including S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and more.
- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring systems are performing optimally and are properly maintained.
- Lead capacity planning, performance tuning, and system migrations.
- Act as a liaison between customers and technical teams, ensuring customer needs are met.
- Document processes and present findings/recommendations to both technical teams and customers.
- Participate in automating routine SAP maintenance tasks to improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.- Strong experience with SAP solutions (e.g., S/4HANA, BW/4HANA).- Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.- Understanding of ITIL practices.- Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
