Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and post vendor invoices into Financial Force (module of salesforce.com) and respond to vendor inquiries
- Issue sales invoices for customer orders into Financial Force
- Create and update customer and vendor account information
- Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare related journal entries
- Verify billing information and prepare payments on a weekly basis
- Assist with monthly closing process by preparing work papers and journal entries, pre-paid expense management and finalizing transactions
- Perform transactions related to Fixed Assets
- Balance sheet accounts reconciliations of major accounts monthly
- Ensure accuracy of financial information in accordance with approved accounting principles
- Comply with state and local legal requirements
- Respect the privacy of the personal information of patients, co-workers, and all individuals with whom the Company interacts
- Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the Company and its operations
- Coordinates the activities of the internal resources and the external provider of accounting and reporting services to ensure the proper, timely and effective accounting of all company transactions
Position Qualifications (Education, Skills, Experience):
- University Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting/financial controlling work experience
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Prior experience with accounting software
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
- Team player and “We win as a team” attitude
- Must be able to work on a flexible schedule
- Self-motivated to continuously expand skills and professional knowledge
- Problem-solving, proactive and positive attitude
