We are hiring for a Facilities Coordinator to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for supporting our labs and office upkeep, and other hands-on tasks, while remaining flexible to support the Operations Team.

Responsibilities



  • Maintain a well-stocked inventory of laboratory supplies, break room essentials, and other materials

  • Assist purchasing team in bringing up daily shipments and delivering to end-users. Process incoming and outgoing shipments as necessary.

  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance on lab equipment ensuring systems operate at optimal performance. Lab freezers defrosting, Nitrogen tank exchanging/swaps at both facilities

  • Manage cleanliness of labs and facility (taking out recycling bins daily, etc) Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure clean and organized facilities. Respond efficiently to emergency issues, including power outages, ensuring quick resolution to minimize impact on staff and operations.

Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management or related field preferred)

  • Previous experience in facility maintenance or a related field (1-3 years preferred)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact with employees, vendors, and contractors professionally

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for scheduling and reporting

  • Knowledge of health, lab safety, and environmental regulations is a plus
